◆ so that作連詞，意為“以便”，可引導(dǎo)目的狀語(yǔ)從句。如：

Let’s leave now so that we can get there at one o’clock.

◆ until可作介詞，也可作連詞。

①當(dāng)句子為肯定句時(shí)，until表示“一直到……時(shí)(為止)”或“在……之前”，這時(shí)句中或主句中的動(dòng)詞為持續(xù)性動(dòng)詞。如：

Wait until 12:00 / her mother comes back.

②當(dāng)句子為否定句時(shí)，not ... until ... 表示 “直到……才……”。如：

I didn’t finish my homework until 11:00 last night / my parents fell asleep.
